Bringing abrasives to life The classroom seminars held in the VSM Competence Center at our company headquarters in Hanover give you hands-on experience with abrasives. Short theoretical sessions are followed by detailed practical blocks. Our new ‘grinding carousel’ lets you try out many different grinding techniques in seven separate booths: > Centerless grinding machine > Flat grinding machine with 7 stations > Double backstand > Backstand with contact wheels in three levels of hardness > Planetary grinding machine > Angle grinder (various power levels) > Extensive range of power tools How do different types of grain behave? Which grinding sequence can cut down on process steps? How are surface analysis devices used? Working in small groups, you’ll learn about all of this and much more in special blocks dedicated to each of the machines.
