Flap wheels conform to intricate shapes and contours. Designed to deliver a consistent finish with a uniform rate of cut, they wear away continually, exposing fresh abrasives. There are two types of non-woven flap wheels: those made with only non-woven flaps, where finishing is the primary application, and interleaved wheels, made with coated abrasive and non-woven flaps.
